active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Physical Therapy
professional opportunity is available to serve K-8 students in a
public school setting in Lowell, MA, with travel to Lawrence, MA
campuses to provide essential PT services. This contract position
spans the 2025-2026 school year, beginning August 11, 2025, and
concluding June 17, 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver skilled
physical therapy interventions to students from kindergarten
through eighth grade. - Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans in collaboration with educators and support staff.
- Maintain required documentation, progress notes, and reports in a
timely manner. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to
support student success. - Travel onsite to multiple campuses
within Lawrence, MA, to fulfill service requirements.
Qualifications: - Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of
Massachusetts. - Completion of fingerprinting and CORI background
check as required. - Experience working in school-based physical
therapy settings preferred. - Strong interpersonal and
communication skills to engage with students, families, and school
personnel. - Flexibility to work a 10-hour week schedule, with
service delivery possible between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, adaptable
across different days. Additional Details: - Position is onsite
only, with mileage reimbursement provided for travel between
locations. - Schedule offers flexibility regarding days worked
within standard school hours. - Commitment to supporting students'
physical development and educational goals during the school year.
