Demand Planner, Oncology has the responsibility and accountability
to engage with global markets, gain a thorough understanding of
each market’s needs, and share insights with the global supply
teams. The demand planner will communicate market demand forecast
changes and highlight major shifts to the Supply Planning team.
This individual will validate the demand forecast utilizing the
supply planning tool (SAP-IBP) and ensure it is inclusive of each
market’s needs: clinical, commercial, and early access/named
patient programs. How you will contribute Leadership and Ownership:
Work with the global markets to improve forecast accuracy; and work
closely with Supply Planning Leads & OBU Global Forecasting for new
moleculer entity global launches Learn the Integrated Business
Planning (IBP) Demand Planning tool; understand key differences and
benefits of the numerous forecasting methodologies; make
recommendations and/or challenge global markets to utilize the
tools available to encourage better forecast accuracy therefore
contributing to stable & sustainable supply plans Product
Forecasts: Lead the management and communication of product
forecasts, scheduling requirements, goals, and resource planning
with third-party contractors. This ensures that the necessary
capacities and resources are available to meet production needs.
Deman Plan Communication: Establish weekly or monthly cadence to
connect with the market/region; gain familiarity with
market/country behavior, unique requirements and/or constraints;
track and report forecast demand changes to Global Oncology Supply
Planning Team. Process Development: Create standard template(s) for
tracking & communicating performance against Forecast Accuracy
targets for all markets to multiple stakeholders– Oncology Supply
Planning, Oncology Business Unit (OBU), and Global Supply Chain
(GSC) Coordinators Enhances customer service level to OBU for Early
Access Programs and the Pre-Registration Sample Process; improves
processes and communication channels between OBU, R&D, and the
OpU to support needs of patients globally via external vendors What
you bring to Takeda Education and Experience: A BA/BS in business
administration, supply chain, or a related Life Science discipline
is preferred, along with over 2 years of experience in operations,
supply chain, or another relevant experience. Technical Skills:
Demonstrated skills in computer systems (Microsoft Office
applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Moderate
experience with MRP system planning with expertise in SAP; APO
experience desired. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a
cross-functional environment. Excellent verbal and written
communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with
site personnel, peers, and management. Ability to handle multiple
tasks concurrently and in a timely fashion. Analytical Skills: Must
be able to leverage and adapt an understanding of roles,
responsibilities, and interrelationships of those functional areas
which one interacts with to develop the best solutions. Must use
appropriate quantitative procedures and tools to analyze data and
make well-reasoned decisions, anticipating customer requirements,
expectations, and needs. Continuous Improvement: Continuously
improve the quality of own work processes and services through
benchmarking and/or adoption of best practices, utilizing
appropriate internal and external resources to accomplish specific
objectives. Proactively identify and effectively address problems
before they cause delays, excessive costs, or other unfavorable

this role, you may: Work in a controlled environment requiring
special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face,
hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing
protection for loud areas. Need to remove all make-up, jewelry,
contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in
the manufacturing environment. Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work
supplemental hours, as necessary. Work around chemicals such as
alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory

Lexington, MA U.S. Base Salary Range: $86,500.00 - $135,960.00 The
estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this
position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of
factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant
for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique
skills, level of education attained, certifications or other
professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant
lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual
base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local
minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based
