Hospitalist (Nocturnist)About the Position Provide overnight
obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital-based setting Cover
Labor & Delivery, OB Emergency Department (OBED) admissions, and
gynecology consults Deliver comprehensive care as part of a 24/7
hospitalist model Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and
multidisciplinary care teams Participate in quality improvement
initiatives and patient care programs Serve as faculty and teach
residents and medical students in an academic environment Schedule
& Practice Details Nocturnist role: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Approximately
twelve 12-hour shifts per month Coverage across a multi-hospital
system with high delivery volume ( 5,000 annually) Work in
facilities with tertiary-level obstetric care and full specialty
support Practice Environment Academic-affiliated health system with
teaching responsibilities Collaborative team including physicians,
subspecialists, midwives, and nursing staff Access to 24/7 in-house
anesthesia, pediatrics, ICU, and maternal-fetal medicine Diverse
patient population and comprehensive maternity services
Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics &
Gynecology Eligible for or active Massachusetts medical license
Strong clinical and surgical skills Interest in teaching and
mentoring residents and medical students Team-oriented with
