Emphasizing inpatient psychiatric services, you'll manage a designated number of patient encounters per shift and engage in comprehensive treatment approaches during normal business hours. Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Inpatient Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Patient Population: Pediatric Location: Natick, MA Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans. Manage a patient load of 6–10 encounters per shift. Utilize various treatment modalities, including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Apply appropriate interventions for acute psychiatric conditions, adhering to CPI training and inpatient protocols. Qualifications Must be MA licensed and board-certified in psychiatry with child and adolescent specialization. Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS. Experience in managing diverse psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, affective, ADHD, personality, eating, development, psychotic, and organic disorders. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Skills Expertise in involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application. Proficient in pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and family interactions.
