Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support in a K-8 educational setting. Located in Worcester, MA, this travel assignment covers a maternity leave from September 15, 2025, to March 9, 2026. The role involves collaborating with school staff and students to enhance developmental, sensory, and motor skills essential for academic success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to K-8 students Implement classroom-based and therapeutic interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress and well-being Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations to support student goals Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license and relevant certifications Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-8 students Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork Ability to adapt and manage caseloads independently in a travel assignment Benefits of this role include the chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences while working in a well-structured school environment.
