Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist
Specialty: CT Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 PM -
06:00 AM Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in
Radiology required License: Licensed by the State of Massachusetts
Radiation Control Board Certifications: ARRT Registered - RT (R) or
RT (N) Must-Have: ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred.
If no CT License at time of hire, Technologist has one year to
obtain CT License. CPR certified. Description: Performs a variety
of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of
a qualified physician and technical specialist. Uses prescribed
levels of ionizing radiation in compliance with federal, state,
local, and hospital policies and procedures. Caters to a variety of
patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging
equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body
parts. Capable of inserting and removing IVs. Graduated from an
accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Minimum of 1 year of
Radiology experience is required. Knowledge of the special needs
and behaviors of adult and older adult patients is preferred.
