WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Labor and Delivery - Discipline:RN - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, days - Employment Type:Local Contract WCS is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a prestigious hospital in Worcester, MA. Travelers can earn up to $2,600 per week for this role. Job Function: - Day Shift & Night Shift. - Provide nursing care to laboring patients, including monitoring fetal heart rates and assessing maternal and fetal status. - Assist with labor and delivery, supporting patients and families throughout the birthing process. - Administer medications and interventions as ordered, and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition. - Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and supportive birthing experience. Job Requirements: - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). - Current RN license for the state where the assignment is located (or willingness to obtain prior to start). - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. - NRP certification required. - 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required. - Fetal monitoring certification preferred.
