Roles and Responsibilities: Monitor and assess mothers and fetuses during labor and delivery. Assist with vaginal and cesarean births, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety. Administer medications, IVs, and manage pain relief options. Recognize and respond to complications (e.g., fetal distress, hemorrhage). Educate and support mothers and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Document patient care accurately and coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams. Maintain current licensure and certifications (BLS, NRP; ACLS/PALS preferred).
