required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (must obtain onsite within
60 days of start) Must-Have: Flu and COVID vaccines required,
medical or religious exceptions accepted Description: Seeking a
Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry. Position involves
working with adult patients in a 28-bed unit, including an area for
acute patients. Common diagnoses include depression, bipolar
disorder, and psychotic disorders. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6.
Charting is done using Meditech. Scrubs color will be specified
upon hiring. Float support may be needed in adult and geriatric
psychiatry as well as child/adolescent care. Special procedures
include ECT. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Call
requirements are not applicable.
