Job Title: Registered Nurse – Oncology (Medical/Surgical)
Location: Burlington, Massachusetts – 01805 Shift Type: 12-Hour Day
Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Schedule: 36 hours/week, every other
weekend, holiday rotation Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date:
July 14, 2025 End Date: October 11, 2025 Employment Type: Travel
(Radius Rule - 50 Miles) Hours/week: 36 hours/week Job Summary: We
are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse with a strong
background in Oncology, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry nursing for
a 13-week travel assignment. The nurse will care for adult oncology
patients in an acute inpatient setting within a Level 1 Trauma
center. Must be comfortable floating to similar units as needed and
thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Roles and
Responsibilities: Deliver direct nursing care to oncology patients
in a med/surg setting Monitor and assess patient status and
intervene in critical situations Administer chemotherapy and
biotherapy per ONS guidelines Document assessments, interventions,
and outcomes in the EMR system Collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams including physicians, social workers, and case managers
Follow infection control and safety procedures in all patient
interactions Participate in shift hand-offs, patient education, and
discharge planning Rotate weekends and holidays as scheduled
Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 3–5 years of recent
inpatient nursing experience At least 2 years of recent
Medical/Surgical and Telemetry experience in a Level 1 Trauma
facility Strong knowledge of oncology nursing principles and
chemotherapy administration Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and
documentation Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking
skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Please submit
