Wound/Ostomy RN in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02138! About The
Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care Location:
Cambridge, MA - 02138 Shift Timing - Days - 5*8 hrs Start Date:
07/14/2025 Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Pay Median: $3150/week -
$3250/week Job Summary: The Wound Care RN will provide specialized
nursing care to patients with wounds, working collaboratively with
the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and patient
satisfaction. This role includes assessments, treatment planning,
education, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities: Coordinate patient care from consultation
to discharge and follow-up Manage scheduling for consults and
treatments Conduct patient evaluations and document findings Assist
with lab, imaging, and diagnostic orders Educate patients and
families on wound care and treatment plans Collaborate with the
healthcare team on rounds and case conferences Lead efforts in
wound-related quality improvement and hospital surveys Maintain
continuing education and meet annual training requirements. Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and wound care management Effective
patient and family communication Knowledge of pressure injury
prevention and treatment Ability to work independently and as part
of a multidisciplinary team Critical thinking and problem-solving
Organizational and time management skills Preferred: Bachelor’s
degree in Nursing (BSN). Prior experience in wound care or related

Massachusetts Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence
Nursing (WOCN) 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
