Job Title: Special Procedures Tech Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State license required Certifications: ARRT certification required, NH license required Must-Have: - IR or Cath Lab experience Description: The unit has two interventional radiology suites. There are four nurses and four techs on the staff. Day shift staff and night shift on-call positions are available. The average patient ratio is 10 patients per room. Key equipment includes Philips biplane and Toshiba single plane. Typically recruited skills include IR or Cath Lab experience, with a preference for candidates with neuro IR experience. Common procedures performed include PICC line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placement, ablations, ESI, EKOS for pulmonary embolism, and Trevo for stroke. Ideal candidates are hardworking and team players. On-call responsibilities occur every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weeknight. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
