Job Title: Recovery Specialist Location: Lowell, Massachusetts (multiple cities available) Job Type: 13-week Contract with potential for multiple extensions Shift: 8-hour day/evening/night shifts Hours per week: 16/32/40 hours Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Recovery Specialist. This position offers the opportunity to provide crucial medical and emotional support to clients during a pivotal stage in their recovery journey from addiction. The Recovery Specialist will assist clients with individual case management, group treatment services, and support in accessing step-down levels of care. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of those struggling with addiction, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities. Supervise clients and conduct 30-minute well-being checks. Conduct telephone admission screenings and perform other admissions duties. Search client belongings on admission and discharge, or as directed by the supervisor. Complete necessary checklists, shift documentation, and record-keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Provide emotional and medical support to clients throughout their recovery process.
