We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to apply for this unique role including clinical education and field nursing.Come find out why Pathways Healthcare was ranked #2 in best places to work in Massachusetts and #51 in best places to work in the United States!Position Details:Main Office location: Westwood, MAJob Type: Full-timeSchedule: Monday FridayResponsibilities:Assist in creating and implementing education curriculum with Clinical Education department.Demonstrates techniques and best practices for trainees.Assists in creating and implementing policies and procedures for all clinicians.Initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Conduct initial assessments of patients and families to determine home care needs.Perform thorough physical assessments and gather comprehensive medical histories.Develop and revise individualized plans of care based on patient status and evolving needs.Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to create robust Plans of Care for each patient.Responsively address inquiries and concerns from patients, caregivers, and medical teams.Provide counseling and support to patients and caregivers before, during, and after treatment.Supervise home health aides as required.Identify discharge planning needs and proactively implement them as part of the care plan development.Qualifications:Preferably 2+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on geriatrics.Nursing degree from an accredited institution.Excellent bedside manners and exceptional communication skills.Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.Maintain current BLS CPR certification.Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.Benefits & Compensation:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) match, HMO & PPO Plans, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Flexible Spending Account.Flexible schedule to promote work-life balance.Opportunities for leadership development and professional growth.Consistent day-shift hours and work schedule.Pathways Healthcare is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and fostering a positive work environment for our team members.
