Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids. Lead team with construction project planning and developing site logistics. Monitor subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines are met. Utilize good time management to ensure timely completion of projects. Keep daily and weekly work logs. Coordinate and supervise all construction activities. Work directly with investors at times and maintain a professional and client facing attitude. Ensure proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and safety requirements are met. Profile The Civil Superintendent - South Shore MA will have: Civil construction experience with a civl contractor / GC (5 years) Experience building ground-up public projects or water/waste water projects (preferred) Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting commercial construction plans, drawings, and specifications Skilled at negotiation and conflict resolution Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload Familiarity with construction/project management Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred) 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certification 30-Hour OSHA (preferred) Job Offer The Civil Superintendent - South Shore MA will receive: Base salary up to $160K (flexible depending on experience) Competitive benefits - healthcare, dental & vision Vehicle allowance / gas card Opportunity to be part of a collaborative, employee-first, reputable GC Diverse project portfolio, up to $50M in value - healthy pipeline of work!
